bah! I was lumped in with the 'minimalist' kids in yesterday's 1st day summary of votes over at Gone4Sure's blog.
I somehow found it fitting to just not say much (well, anything) about Sufjan Stevens. His latest album has a 25-minute track, you don't need to cram more words on top of that.
Nineteen was a tough one to pick. In the end, what with today's NASA-madness, the lyrics of 'Flashover' felt too much like a happy confluence-in-the-making to avoid. How does it go again? ...Myriads of silver discs, signals have been noticed out on the drift. Here comes the flashover, from our new neighbour...
