This is the part where all you indie snobsters descend upon me not unlike pissant hipster harpies with vile appetites on torch-wielding peasants.
Natassa is on the list because she represents (to me, and others) the fresh blood and hope for the greek 'entechno'/folk scene... and in a very stagnant year for the genre, she really is the ONLY one to come out with a full album of worthwhile new material (and not sell out to a big print newspaper or gossip magazine for its distribution).
Like I said... hope.

bah! I was lumped in with the 'minimalist' kids in yesterday's 1st day summary of votes over at Gone4Sure's blog.
I somehow found it fitting to just not say much (well, anything) about Sufjan Stevens. His latest album has a 25-minute track, you don't need to cram more words on top of that.
Nineteen was a tough one to pick. In the end, what with today's NASA-madness, the lyrics of 'Flashover' felt too much like a happy confluence-in-the-making to avoid. How does it go again? ...Myriads of silver discs, signals have been noticed out on the drift. Here comes the flashover, from our new neighbour...
December 1st to December 20th the blog will rise once more from its muddy ashes for Gone4Sure's annual 'blogovision' vote. 94 greek bloggers voting for the best albums of the year.
Now, I had barely listened to 20-25 complete albums all year long, so I'll just be participating with my humble pet faves in the top 10 spots and some fave suggestions from friends in #10-20.
